I'm beginning to get curious about the whole expensive realm of the audiophile, but unfortunately don't have all that much money.
I'm looking to see how much sound quality I can get for $150, about all I can muster for this. I'm not fully literate in the nuances of headphones, however, advice?
I have no problems looking for something used, and was considering getting a pair of Bose QC2 off eBay, since they go for half the original $300. But I've heard that the majority consensus on Bose is that their products are pretty over hyped. But I'm wondering, even over hyped, that it might be the best I can hope for with the money I have.
I would really prefer a circumaural pair, but I'm flexible with the noise canceling aspect. Any recommendation for sound quality?
