We now have new management and they are trying to make each apartment have similar items for example all the sink faucets were replaced. We had a pull out hose sprayer at the kitchen sink but now with the new one we do not have it because its a "flood risk"

We also needed the wall in our shower replaced and when that was done they replaced the knobs and shower head to the shower. and I believe the one we put on ourselfs was throw out. (ours was strong, different settings and a water saver) This new one really sucks its so weak it makes it so difficult to wash our thich hair and I used to wash my daughter and boyfriends hair in the sink with the sprayer and now I cant and since she is 2 the water barley gets to her and it having a hand help would help.

Its friday and I won't be able to ask until monday would you think they wouldnt want us to change it out? (we can keep it for when we leave and put it back)

have an expert friend or whomever, install what you want and
put the new one in a closet--and when you move out, make sure
you replace it.

you can do the same with the kitchen

There is a reason that you can't have that other shower head is that they do not WANT you to have it. It is entirely possible that the showerhead was mandated by local building codes. I've had that occur in some of my own units. You can certainly ASK, but do not be surprised if your request is refused.
