I would really love to watch some short movies, like Tourist or Letter to Juliet. I wouldn't exactly call them short, but the plots aren't so complicated and it feels like they are very easy and comfortable to watch.

Maybe Independence Day. It was made in 1996, but it's the most popular sci-fi movie and it's awesome. Plus, it's so unpredictable what's going to happen next and who will survive or not? I reccommend it.
