Anybody here have Dish high speed internet? I just received a brochure from them?
currently I only have dial up where I live. So what do you think of it and is it compatible with magicJack plus so I can get rid of home phone line or is that just hype? Thanks all.
 
no. You don't ditch land line for magic jack on Satellite. Ever watch those news reports with remote satellite reports? see those 2 second delays between the question and the answer? That's the time it takes the signal to get from the base station to the satellite and back down again. That's what you would get with every sentence on the phone over satellite. That's what you would get between pulling the trigger and shooting a guy in a computer game.
And then it's expensive.
better luck trying something cellular like a 4g card. You have to check the local companies to see who covers out there.
