...and possibly downham market? This is a novel I read when I was younger and I am desperate to find it again. I have had absolutely no luck searching on the web. The book, I think (from what I can remember) is based in Norfolk during a 'big freeze', possibly during the 18th/19th century and has references to ice skating up the River Ouse, Downham Market, Kings Lynn etc. Can somebody please help with the name of the book or the author?
