anyone ice fish if so can you help?

I got a slight problem with my ice auger.I tried it out today on some pretty good ice and when i tryed to drill it wouldnt work. the blades didnt catch on the ice so it woldnt drill and if they did they would slip off CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP IF I DONT GET THIS TAKEN CARE I AM SCREWED FOR TOMMOROWS FISHING
 
I"m not sure if you have had it sharpened lately and the blades could be turned around which would make it not want to drill or the blades are so dull that it will not cut at all. Make sur that the blades are in the cutting position and if that is"nt it, have them sharpened or put new blades on it.
