Ok so I have a 1973 VW bug that is about 2 inches off the ground(!st owner was trying to make a show car, second owner never got around to lifting it himself) and it needs to be raised so I can drive it. The thing is is we don't know anyone around the Austin area that can do it, or even in Texas. My boyfriend says he can do one end but the other end has torchen bar things and I don't want him messing with it, no offense but he's never done it. So does anyone know of anyone that can do it? Please let me know. Walking to and from school is a 30 min walk(TX heat is not cool), it sucks even more since I bought it about 2~3 months ago and cant drive it yet.
