There is this one scene in Scream that I still don't understand.
Cindy and Tatem are in a groccery store (or beer store?) and shopping for the big party. Then you see a reflection of the Killer in one of the fridge windows. But he doesn't attack them or even let them know he's there, so..
A: Why? It's broad daylight in a store next to a cop station. Why take such a huge risk? And not actually do anything?
B: Didn't anybody notice him go into the store? Or come out?
C: Security cameras?
Also, which of the killers do you think it was?

I disagree. The cops found a costume after Sydney was attacked in her home. Kids were running around the HS wearing the same one, so it was public knowledge.
And this scene happened after 2 attacks. Ppl were scared and would be paranoid and looking out for killers.
(Last but not least, there is nothing to indicate it's around Halloween.)
