What team stopped Pete Rose's 44-game hitting streak in 1978 and what was the score for that game?

A. Phillies
B. Padres
C. Dodgers
D. Braves
 
I remember the game well. Rose was bitter after the game complaining that the relief pitcher tried to strike him out rather than letting him swing away to extend his hitting streak. Apparently if you have a big lead, you're not supposed to try to get the batter out.
 
D. Braves; Can't remember exact score, but it was lopsided. I'm thinking 14-1? Gene Garber recorded the last out on Rose with a strikeout.
Okay, I was close. I looked up the score, and it was a 16-4 Braves victory.
