Anyone whining about Boise State winning last night?

I loved it. So tired of the big schools/same schools in college football. So tired of the BCS. So tired of no tournament. I hope Boise State and other smaller schools ruin the BCS.

The argument Boise remains intact. They play 2 relatively strong teams. In the era of an 11 game schedule, it is not much to expect a national champion to have a significantly stronger schedule. No one is "whining." Smaller schools can play 4-5 big schools and no reasonable fan would oppose their being a national title contender. The schedule of any team with a weaker schedule permits a "week off" for its banged up players. That is a luxury not available to the major conference teams.

yup, now i can see that they dont belong in the title game, im a hokies fan and our D is very young and it showed last night, if bosie state the team that is bring back all starters from last year, just won by the hair on their chins, i know they cant hand with a bama or ohio state, hell if tech was in mid season form they would have lost that game, but im not a bosie hater, they are a good team dont get me wrong, but i think they cant hang with the big boys

Boise State played a good game but it wasn't enough. They had a 17-0 lead at one point and basically needed to throttle Va Tech to have a shot at playing for the national title. I'm not bashing Boise State, they played a great game and deserved to win. However, the BCS is going to go out of their way to make sure they don't get in and this adds fuel to that fire.

Nope. They essentially won a road game against a top 10 team.
After beating TCU in the bowl game and returning 20 or 22 starters, it is hard to argue that they are worthy of a BCS title shot.

It's the same argument every year. I'm glad they won, but they play 2 ranked teams when the other teams play 3 or 4 and they didn't really beat them that good so we will see. I wish them the best honestly, it would be interesting to see what happens if they throw a wrench into the BCS.
