I have a iPod touch 3 and was about to get the new touch 5. I have tons of apps on my iPod, and I was going to sell it to help pay for the new iPod.
Once I log out of the iPod Touch 3, and sell it, then get my new iPod, can I simply click start as new iPod (I don't have iCloud or a iTunes backup) then sign into THE APPLE ID I HAVE NOW, go to the app store under purchased and get all my apps back?
Is that how it works? You login then go to purchased, and all your old apps from my original iPod are in there?
Also when you LOGOUT of a apple id, do all your apps on your homescreen go away? I don't know why they would stay there if your not on the account anymore, but I was just wandering.
Ok thanks
