Hi, I want to make iPhone games, but I don't really have all the information I would like about being a developer. I know that it is $99/year for iphone, itouch, ipad publishing, but there are other things I need to know. For instance, is there a limit to how many apps you can publish? Anyone who is a developer, please explain the program as best you can and let me know about anything important ( like if there is ANYTHING other than the $99 you have to pay ). Thanks!
 
1. You have to have a Mac to develop on.
2. You *should* have an iWhatver to use as a test platform, I don't entirely trust XCode's virtual device.
3. Apple imposes arbitrary limits on everything, without making any sense most of the time.
4. You *have* to completely comply with Apple's draconian licensing and development rules.
5. There is no guarantee that an app will be accepted, and Apple is prone to simply not allow anything they just don't like or feel threatened by.
