I am writting a email to a professor in my PhD program and a potinental seat in his lab.
When writting the letter, should I introduce myself at the start like this.
"Hey Dr. A,
My name is Zach Miller, I will be attending your school....
Thank you,
Zach,
..."
Or is it best to just get straight to it, and let the signature tell them who you are?
