Apps not deleting from blackberry storm...?

for some reason applications are not deleting from my blackberry storm (or at least it seems). It keeps telling me my application space is low and i need to delete apps. So I go and delete them yet it still keeps saying my app memory space is low (in fact, the amount of space hasn't increased since I supposedly deleted some). Is there something I am doing wrong?
