Are 350 2-barrel heads the same as 4-barrel heads?

I have a 1973 350 2-barrel engine and some people have told me that the heads flow less on 2-barrel engine and others tell me they are the exact same. I'm thinking about swapping my Rochester 2-barrel for a little vacuum secondary 4-barrel for better fuel economy and performance.

You will have to change the manifold. You will not get better economy with 4 barrel.

I'd expect the difference to be the intake manifold.

The heads are the same, the intake is different, but you can buy an adapter to bolt on a 4 barell carb.
