Are all HDMI chords created equal?

I dont understand how best buy can sell HDMI chords for around 100 bucks but on ebay I see lots of them for under 5 bucks...I understand best buy has to make up but like 900% really???

Or are the chords different...are they like Ethernet cables (the different cats)?
