I have a cute little Betta 'Gus'. He seems like a more non-aggressive male as I've only seen him "puff" once in the 3 months since I've bought him. Recently, I've been thinking of upgrading to a larger tank and getting some companion fish.
My question is: Are companion fish (suitable ones! I know, no guppies etc) beneficial, harmful, or does it not matter? I see conflicting opinions. I know that most likely he won't bother them, but will having other fish stress him out more or less? Any advice is helpful, expert is greatly appreciated.
