Are Blackberries good phones?

I think I'll use a Blackberry for normal use, like calling, texting, and checking e-mails, but is the Blackberry any good? What should I know about getting a "Smart phone" before making a decision?
 
they are great phones, they work really good, but they all depend on what ur looking for. i think you should defenitly get one. but check your options cause there is alot of blackberries.
 
yes they are good phones i have a pearl and its pretty good, no complain so far.
