I live in the Midwest, and am almost 40 now, so I have no idea what 20-yr old hipsters are into, these days... however, lately, I've been seeing a lot of kids (male, of course) walking around with these 19th century style mustaches-- waxed, sometimes with handlebars, or w/ the ends grown long, and twisted so they stick out, in either direction, a la Snidely Whiplash... are 19th century mustaches the new fashion trend? Or have I just seen a few mustachioed weirdos? (although, personally, I think it looks pretty cool, on a young guy-- I've seen old bikers sometimes, wearing them, but only recently, have I seen the look on young kids-- and once I noticed it, they seemed to be everywhere... is this an official trend? does it have something to do with 'Steam Punk' culture?
