Ya know...
I've been riding a long time and I've ridden all kinds of differen't bikes.
With the exception of some good natured joking between friends Yahoo Answers is the only place I've seen this nonsense.
I don't know if it's because the Harley haters are afraid to say anything in person and they're just braver when they're behind their computer monitors, or if the ones who are acting immature don't own motorcycles at all and are just Internet trolls, or if foreign motorcycle manufacturers are the ones here who try to create the anti-Harley sentiment. It really gets tiresome though doesn't it?
I try to respect everyone who rides.
 
Its interesting how rice rocket riders have 1001 reasons to hate Harley's and love talking about it...but bikers that ride Harley's don't hate sport bikes - they really don't pay much attention to them unless one is buzzing past them at 120 in heavy traffic.
 
rocket's ride better and have a better people who ride them yes i know not everyone is bad who ride harley's but you can't lie when harley peeps get together there is bunch there that suck and not just a few a lot.
when the other group gets together its calm and layed back. I like there group better and have been around both. Harley's are way over priced and most of the rides are hard . rocket rides are a lot nicer and the most of the people who ride them are cool and wash lol

I ride a ZXR250 purely because I love the sound it makes. I don't in anyway hate the sound of a V twin tho. But I wonder, are you thinking of Harley haters or cruiser haters? Now if you mean Harley haters then its probably be because they think that Harleys are over rated. But if you're thinking of cruiser haters then maybe its because of sport and cruiser riders have different personalities. Some sportbikes are expensive too. (this is all with the exception to jerks who say sh't that dont ride)

I think its just what side of the fence your on....

I work on them both I don't mind.
