Are Jaguars generally reliable cars?

Basically anything made after 1995 should be fine. Forget anything made or designed in the 70's and 80's
 
yes! even the diesels. i like the XJ with the V6 :-)
and as for olderones my XJ-S started!!!! first time this morning and i was like OMG! it started in snow!
 
They are good cars but not very reliable,
British cars have a long history of cars with outdated technology and engineering, if anything, they are very good with leather and wood trim.
