Are motorcycle prices going to drop dramatically in the near future?

I heard that sales are down by some huge percent across the board and that some plants are closing. This is terrible, but I'm wondering if the prices are going to start to drop and maybe I can finally afford one on my graduate student salary?

Harley has a glut of used and new motorcycles on the market and are trying their best to preserve their high price with out success. The other companies will just adjust their prices or discontinue models.

I doubt you'll see a price drop unless a dealer has too much inventory. Thay'll just cut production. With current manufacturing practices the bike prices are pretty close to costs already. You may see some dealers going out of business and selling off inventory but I don't expect a significant overall drop.
