Are movie stars like they are in real life like they are in movies?

Are movie stars like they are in real life like they are in movies or are they just acting? When you see them in movies is that fantasy? If you called a movie star on the phone(you couldn't, it's just an example) would you get the same person you saw in the movies? In reality are they nothing at all like they are in the movies?
