Are movie stars more attractive than they really are because we see them in movies?

When we see them in movies they become more real to us and when they are more real we have more affinity for them and so they look better than they really are.
 
i think so, because often movie characters are interesting, or have a beautiful personality or story, or are part of something powerful, thats why they warrant having a film about them. We become attatched to the characters they play and start to attatch the beauty we see within them to the person themselves. thats why people dont like it when movie stars die in ordinary ways, or do ordinary things. conspiracy theories are born, we lovvve to criticise stars without makeup , but why? theyre just people like ourselves, we just dont like to admit it. we want them to be greater than they are
