I recently quit smoking (about a month ago) after smoking a pack a week for two years.For about two weeks now I wake up with sore throat, coughing, and/or hoarse voice. At first I thought I was just sick, but as the day goes on my symptoms dissipate and the symptoms have gotten no better or worse for about two weeks. Does anyone know if there is precedence with ex-smokers developing such problems?
