Are smart phones going to completely replace all other gadgets and electronics?

Will everyone have their own "TV" on their phone and no one will watch a full-sized one?
Will everyone suft the net on their phone and never buy another lap top or desk top (except maybe for work)
Will all GPS be on your phone, putting the TomTom and Garmins out of business?
Same with movies... no blu-rays or DVDs... you just rent a movie from your phone?

No, I don't believe smartphones will completely take over. There are still people out there that prefer to have a basic flip phone with no internet or text messaging.

When I'm home, I prefer watching my TV over the TV on my smartphone. And even though the internet on my smartphone looks like the internet on my home computer, I still prefer my home computer internet when I'm home. The only time I really use my smartphone for media is when I'm on the go and need to access something quickly.

It's hard to say if we will still have TV or regular internet as we know it in the future but I doubt the smartphone will be the death of it.
