I think so. Yes he a good RB, but not great. I see RB's like Maurice jones drew Ray Rice Mendenhall are all better, id say hes in the top 20 though. When teams play the Rams they know just stop Steven and youre gonna beat the Rams. If we trade him for some good players and draft a good QB and RB maybe then we can have a decent team, what do u think

He's the only reason anybody cares about the Rams at all. He keeps the dozens of fans coming to the stadium.

i'm a rams fan and i agree. rams still have a ways to go. why stop this guy from achieving his potential.

Why? He's the only thing they have to build around...

i disagree...

he's easily a top 5 running back in the league....he's performing on a mediocre offense with a mediocre o line...imagine him on a team with some kind of passing game to keep the defense from putting 8+ players in the box to stop him

No, but then again they can't be any worse. And, if the Rams have enough football intelligence to do what Jimmy Johnson did when he traded Herchel Walker to the Vikings, then St. Louis can build off a trade. And Johnson traded Walker knowing it would hurt his team immediately (the Cowboys went 1-15), but help in the long run (the Cowboys won a pair of Super Bowls). But, you can't use draft picks to justify a trade unless you are certain the Rams have the intelligence to make good use of those picks.

I think it would be better for Jackson to be traded to a team that can use him better. But, for the short term, the Rams won't be any better without him. And, unless they have a good GM, they won't be better without him in the long term.
