I heard rumors, saw videos, and read some articles that insist that the US is going to get the bomb dropped sometime in 2009? Anyone else have info?

I have not heard of this. Anything is possible though, I will keep my eye out for any such information or chatter about this and see if this question comes up again I will be able to give an answer.
