Are the transport groups' actions ( no jeepneys today, etc) effective in their

protests vs oil price hikes? The "tigil pasada" is what they resort to, everytime. The other day, a novel technique, at least for them, was to have people lying on the streets to prevent vehicles from moving, paralyzing traffic.

What do you think? Should they stop? Or do something else?
 
To cause inconvenience is always effective, but I don't understand why people have to suffer more so the children who are going to schools have to walk.

The whole of the Business Sector is being affected as employee may come late or may not come for work at all.

But is there any alternative if all talks have failed?
