I'm interested in getting a BMX bike. I used to have 3 of them when I was younger and used them to ride around in as well as hit dirt trails/jumps. I used to have a Dyno, and two GT's. Loved those bikes.
Now I'm 26, standing at 6'-3" tall and weigh 329 lbs. I looked around online for BMX bikes, but so much has changed since I stopped ridding and got a car and got into car modification/racing. Does anyone know of a company/brand or make of a BMX bike that can hold a rider of my height/weight for riding on the streets, going on dirt trails, and maybe hopping over a small object (fallen tree branch, stump, etc)? I want to get back into riding and I prefer BMX bikes over mountain bikes. I rode a buddies BMX bike called "kink" I think on a 21" frame and it was a really small bike and uncomfortable to ride for longer than 5 minutes...my legs and back felt very odd/sore.
I'd appreciate any suggestions and helpful feedback/links. Just want to get back into an old, fun, and healthy hobby. Miss the fresh air and thrill of riding a BMX bike on a trail in the woods.
