are there dangerous toxins emitted from laser printers?

i have a laser printer in my room (its a brother hl 2270 DW). I just got it and I use it around once a week, and at times, i print over 500 pages of documents. The printer itself is very efficient, but it emits a lot of air that smells like burnt rubber. Is there a hazard to having the printer in my room? Are these toxins deadly? How should i deal with this problem?
