...form normal relationships? just like the title, does having a dysfunctional family (mostly emotional verbal abuse) as a growing child have effects on that particular child in forming healthy relationships as an adult?
cause it seems that I'm suffering greatly in that department haha
 
YES you are going to have low self esteem and probably expect people to be like the ones you grew up with. You may seek out abusive partners and if you do start to have a normal relationship you will very likely find a way to sabotage it because it is unfamiliar territory. Look, don't give up. You have recognized the problem now find a good therapist to help you re-build your self image. Good luck.
 
Depends how did your parents treat you, how is your current and your past relationships what's your goals and expectations in life. so on and so forth it's good to get all the details.
