I'm doing some A2 English work on 'The Great Gatsby' by F. Scott Fitzgerald and I am struggling with finding examples of feminism in the text, as it is mainly based around Nick's narration and Gatsby's story. Could I argue that it is male dominated, hence making a feminist see the book in that way? If that makes sense haha.
Also, which of the girls, Daisy or Jordan, seem to be the most strong willed? I'm struggling with Jordan, but could Daisy be considered to be this way as she does have an affair with Gatsby whilst married to Tom perhaps?
Any information or knowledge on the subject would be amazing! Thank you in advance!
