signs, but slow progress? I've known him for over a year. There's many signs to suggests he is, but how do I know if it's genuine or a bit of fun.
- He lends me his jacket whenever he thinks I look cold & has called me beautiful.
- He was competitive when 2 guys my ages came to speak to me & my friend.
- He held my hand when talking to me once, before I knew him that well. (I think he grabbed it subconsciously.
- He buys me drinks, & once a friend said thanks, but he said it was just for Rose (He calls me Rose, instead of Rosie)
- One night, I left my friends house, (she invited him & his friend over too), but I came back because I left something. He opened the door & grabbed me towards him & started saying I'm very special, & if he could, he would etc etc...but he doesn't want to mess up my life. I didn't know what to say. He looked all distressed. Since, we've acted how we did previously, as like that moment never happened.
- We were at my friends for a 2nd time however, & we were finally left alone. He said how everyone says we should get together, & he was very shy for a man who's really confident. He was mumbling & suggested maybe we should go to dinner. He said he fancies the pants of me & it's a nice feeling, & thinks I'm gorgeous.Then he said he wished he could just scoop me up. But he said "you don't want to cuddle with me". When we got outside, we said bye & he kissed me on the lips, but I went to kiss him on the cheek. A few days later he called me, but I missed it, so he text.
Since I've seen him 2 or 3 times. We didn't get a chance to talk alone as usual. A few nights ago I bumped into him & he text me after. During the conversation he said it would be a pleasure if I wanted to share dinner with him some time, & he kept texting me & saying it was lovely to see me. He told me to call if I wasn't going home.
It's 8 months since the last time he text me & nothing progressed then. He's not sure how I feel & he's older. I'm 23 and he's in his 30s. He is separated from his gf. I sometimes wonder if he thinks about me, or it's just some fun to him.
