Ok. I am prenant now with a boy. Not twins, yet.

Although my grandfather is an identical twin. We also have 2 other sets of identical twins in my side of the family. I also believe that my grandmother's side has a set of twins.
There are twins in my fiance's side as well. My fiance's mother was actually carrying 2 water sacs when she was pregnant with him. His twin didnt make it though. I believe his mother said that they have twins in both sides of their family as well....

What are the percentages that we will have twins next?
What is the percentage that they would be identical as well?

If the twins in your family were fraternal I would say your odds were high, but identical twins aren't genetic. They are a luck of the draw type scenario. So your odds would be about the same as anybody elses.

Identical twins are random. Fraternal twins are slightly more likely if the mother has a history of twins on her side of the family.

Well I cant help you with the percents but if there is two separate placentas then they are fraternal and 1 placenta they are identical
