The media is wacko. Hope you can analyze for yourself. Right now I pay $1/gal more than a year ago. I have a Honda Pilot. That means I pay $16/tank more on average .. or $64/month (tank a week) more. Do you really think I cannot afford $64 more/month with a $30,000 vehicle? Who are they kidding? Give it a rest. But, I know gas affects other things too. But if you manage your life and finances right it is no big deal. Frankly .. my budget this year is the same as last years. Sort of like Southwest Airlines versus the other airlines .. Southwest always makes money . even this year. Why? Because they manage things right. So, I am not giving up my SUV .. no way. Are you?
