we have been giving to them for over 50 years or more.how much do they need
no shortage of food in america.
if there is no men how they carry on having childern
hi bottled, your country has not looked to others for food, you look after your own.you r country is not showing pictures of starving childern in your country.

well,if we still have starving people in America, then I would be surprised if there were no one starving in Africa.

Look on the map, see how big that continent is.........theres your answer. Many tribal people live a different life with dif customs than us. To mention some of these is very upsetting to relocated or living in modern city African continent citizens, so I will not go and insult them as they feel threatened to hear how it is......many areas are remote, drought destroyed, war destroyed, and babies are born at a huge rate there.
Its a very sad ongoing and will continue forever situation. They will always need help. Whether its they cant relocate to furtile soils to grow thier own food, wars keep them locked into dangerous areas or religious beliefs keep them in areas that cannot support people, its all of these reasons. Each area, each tribe has it own type of needs, and there are people there making good progress in helping, but those in areas you cant grow, you can only feed them right? Those in war areas, its so dangerous to bring things in, and alot of the help is stolen by the intruders/military/extremists, that the families that need them cant get them. Notice when you see on the news, the absense of men in the videos or pictures, you do not see that in any other continents media portrayal. That is how dif ways are in that area of the planet......very sad indeed.

I suggest you wake up and smell the coffee. There are people starving in America. A middle school here in Orlando just opened up a food bank for homeless students to take free food. Sacramento California now has hundreds of people living in tents without jobs or cars or even running water. Restaurants are shutting down all over... Farmers can't afford to grow crops anymore. Second Harvest Food Bank cannot help families because donations are down and shelves are empty.

Obviously you are completely out of touch with reality.

Because people are ignorant when it comes to solving problems. They prefer treating the symptoms instead of finding the cure.

Instead of investing in building a food industry in Africa, they prefer to give Africans food. Instead of cutting the blood diamond supply which allows the wars in west Africa to continue, they prefer use the money to keep a large force of UN peacekeeping troops in various regions[Luckily they started treating the blood diamond problem a few years ago - At long last], and so on and so on.

Just like with welfare - Giving something to cover up for the problem instead of providing a solution to end the problem altogether only makes it worse, not better. For the last 50 years you mentioned, Africans were given food, but not the capability to produce their own. Is it any surprise then that they still need more food nowadays?
