I was recently thinking about enlisting in the army to serve and gain experience. I am currently a student and I talked to a recruiter about the time I am going to spend in the army. He told me I would be able to take classes wherever I am stationed, whether it be on base, or somewhere in the states.
The line of work I was interested in was in the medical field and he described the work done by medical technicians was shift work. He then stated that after that particular shift, I could do homework, read, and continue my schooling while in the army.
My question is that if this is entirely true? On the army base, are there really teachers there to teach certain subjects that are offered at other schools? I know that the army is an accredited group that can grant credits for certain training exercises, and experience, but I want to know the truth and lies of this particular statement. Thank you in advance
