As a highschool student, is it worth it?

Is it worth it to only be permitted to ride from sunup to sundown? (about 7am to 5pm) on a motorcycle?

I am getting a beginner bike + learners permit and those hours will be my restrictions, i am a senior in highschool so its primary use will be going there and home
