religion then tell me one thing ? If you say that there is no God and thus no religion then explain how could have the universe have been created by itself ? You may know that if you look at the earth .Everything here is created by someone . the roads , buldings, tables, desks, but yes human beings didnt created the sky the nature . the rivers, oceans, seas , mountains. so we have a clear hint that if small things like i mentioned above is created by someone and cannot exist without someone creating them then how could a vast so immense universe be created by itself . If we look at our solar system its all a matter of seconds. If one or two seconds difference the boom everything will burn into ashes. SO its so systematic and so godly. Ok if you beleive that everything was created by itself then tell me if we start analyzing how the universe was created and we do find a scientific reasoning for it but then such questions arises like what was before that .what was present when there was no universe at the first place ? If you say there was nothing then what property , shape color taste, size etc etc . does that nothing had/? Because even for a nothing to have there must be a somethig of it that created that nothing and it must posess certian qualities and properties and be of some nature ??? So how you answer this question or you just have the courage to say Ahhh nay science created nothing then who created science.

Just because we're ignorant of the answer at this point in time, does not mean that a God had to create this place. Ignorance doesn't mean God. Some religious people seem to love these "gaps" that science cannot yet explain. Just because we can't explain it yet does not mean God did it!

I see. SO everything must have a creator? There can be no exception? For example your god cannot be an exception because everything must have a creator. Therefor who created your god, and shouldn't we revere that creator, or the creator of that creator, etc. etc.? Logically, if your god can exist without a creator, then a creator is not necessary to existence, therefor a creator is not necessary to the the existence of the universe. So you are not really arguing for the necessity of a creator. You are simply stating your preference to skip the intellectual effort and scientific study required to answer your questions and go straight to childish superstitions as the explanation for everything of which you personally are ignorant? And aren't you deciding what the nature of your god is, who functions as you would wish them to, doing the things you would prefer they do in the way you would like, all to fit your chosen superstition? Because different religions imgaine deities differently and trher is no more evidence for one type than another in that there is no evidence at all. So you are the creator of your god, and you are clearly not very bright or rational, so I don't think I will worship anything created by you.

I find it funny that people have trouble believing in evolution, but don't even bat and eye when told they came from dirt. Don't Even ask how a living being that is 75% water came from dirt. I personally question everything, I don't blindly believe what I am told with out looking for answers myself.

Atheists who follow their trains of thought to their ultimate conclusion become Deist. I'm basing this on the major scientists, who have actually pursued their beliefs to try to find an answer. The regular ones who are not pursuing the trail of evidence to its conclusion are stuck in a rut, accepting "nothing" as an answer, or waiting for the trend to tell them what is currently "right".

So you're basically saying that because you don't understand it, a wizard must have done it. Got it.

That argument has been stated by much better and by more educated people. And it has been proven flawed, illogical, and wrong by even greater people.

Religion or God have nothing to do with how the universe was created, try the Big Bang Theory. Even if the Big Bang Theory is proven incorrect that is not proof that there is a God.

No one knows how it happened, and god does not explain it. The creative writers just said god created the universe, and that's enough for you to believe it?

That tired argument is centuries old and still false. Who created your creator and who created his or her creator and etc.?

The Christian scriptures where written between 2000 years before Christ to about 200 years after.... that's all. Modern science came to be around the Mid-16th to Mid-17th centuries with Galileo and Sir Isaac Newton to Albert Einstein to what we know as modern science today is ONLY in that period.

How in the world!! could there be any science in scripture? There can not be. Just the two historical periods are separated by so much. The scriptures are not teaching science, Its very hard for me to except not just a lateral interpretation of scripture but a fundamentalist approach to religious belief. Its kind of a plague; the bible presents its self as science and it simply is not.

And just as a side-note

The Gospel writers never met Jesus....that's right!! Not even St.Paul, No one who wrote about Jesus ever met him, So Christians can't say that the gospels are proof enough for the existence of Jesus Christ

We can all agree that the New Testament was written after the Old Testament. All that means is that the people who read the Old Testament made the prophesies FIT when they wrote the New Testament; its as simple as that. Please don't take my word for it.....just look it up for yourself; you'll see.

The universe was not created. It formed due entirely to natural forces.

The universe was not made from nothing. The energy that created it has always existed, just how theists claim that god has always existed. The only problem is theists falsely call this energy God and say it is intelligent and all powerful and such. The fact of the matter is that it is not. It is simply energy. Therefore the universe did not come from nothing. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred. This proves as a fact that the energy to make the big bang was always there and is eternally there. Only temporal (non eternal) things need a creator. The universe created itself basically.
