Atheists what is "proof" is there proof of anything?

You see the stars and you say there is "Proof" that they exist but are you not just relaying on your perception and your senses? We as humans relay on our senses and even when we create technology to examine something to prove if it is real or not we still are using our perception. So how can we really "prove" anything is real like the universe? we as humans can be wrong even when we are certain we are right because we relay on our senses so could we be wrong about everything we know and believe as real and false?
