Ezekiel prophesies that Tyre will be completely destroyed by Nebuchadrezzar and will never be built again. Nebuchadrezzar failed to do this - it took Alexander the Great to sack Tyre. Also there is a significant town there today. - Ezekiel 26 though 28.
David did not have 3,000 tons of gold or 30,000 tons of silver. - 1 Chronicles 22:14
Dead seeds do not germinate. 1 Corinthiand 15:38
Matthew and Luke say that Jesus was born during the reign of Herod the Great. But Mark says Joseph and Mary were in Bethlehem for the census of Quirinius. Quirinius did not become governor until 10 years after Herod the Great died. One of these accounts has to be wrong.
Atheists don't fully understand the Bible. Yes, some of them are intelligent, but they are also psychologically content with the idea that they are correct and seek to disprove the Bible. With this in mind, you can't take the Bible so literal; because if you do it does contradict itself, rather it is to be interpreted in a contradictory context that makes everything or most everything in the Bible accurate. This is why atheists disagree with the Bible, simply because they have closed minds to the Bible. Atheists also say that the Bible says that the earth is flat, which is completely fallacious; the Bible actually states that the earth is round before anyone had discovered it. Most atheists do not look at both sides of the problem and have wrong interpretations. The atheist will primarily look at science and rarely, if at all at the Bible with a state of mind to disprove the Bible. You need to be open minded and look at both parts of the problem to come up with a logical solution. If you were to look at Genesis, yes it seems at first nonsensical, but you have to remember that God exists in multiple dimensions and doesn't have a full sense of our universal laws of time and space. He knows about them, but can't have a full understanding of the passing of time in our universe. With this in mind; no I do not believe that it took six days to create our universe, that sounds to illogical to me based on what we see today in planetary creation. Some atheists have actually gone on to solving this problem with an open mind and read the Bible thoroughly trying to disprove it and ended up seeing both sides of the puzzle and proving the Bible and science to fit within explanation.
I doubt if you atheists could argue with that.
PS- next time you ask a question referring to your religion please try to spell things properly, it tells people a thing or two about your intelligence.
To Simon T- If things evolved then that would require a change in genes, which in genetic studies have been proven to cause mutations in which the organism would later die. Organisms such as birds and reptiles may be similar genetically, but didn't evolve from one to another. And don't say it's natural selection because that's a completely different thing.
