Attempting a million miles on a 1994 - 1996 Impala?

Recently I saw a video of some guy on Youtube who took his 91 Silverado to a million miles. That has inspired me, and I always have loved the 1994 - 1996 Impala. This will be my first car. I have faith in the LT1 making it to a million with general maintenance, but I don't know about the 4L60-E because my brother's buddy has an Impala at just under 200K and it slips. Does any one on here have an original 4L60-E that hit over 200K?
 
guarantee that ur brother's buddy didn't do the maintenance like he was supposed to on that trans......but anyway most trans only last around 200k........but then again 90 prct of ppl don't do trans maintenance.....ur supposed to change filter and fluid every 60k or so on GM trans....some models as low as every 30k....

have seen a few 4L60-e trans with over 200k but not that many...usually on high mileage vehicles......meaning lease cars and such that were driven on hwy tons and had over 50k per year put on them......
