Audi A4 2005 Coolant Light?

Coolant warning came on. Do I use G12 coolant? Which brand? Should I do a Coolant flush since the coolant is a different color then purple (audi original coolant)? If so, can I do it my self?
 
You want to use the same coolant COLOR that the car came with. Do not mix colors either, as it can cause major damage.
