What is your perception of someone who drinks Australian Shiraz (red)?

I would suppose you know which wines Australia is known for, but maybe a little afraid to go out on a limb and try something new. A safe choice. But I wouldn't form a perception of someone based on what they drink unless they are chugging Franza straight from the box!

No different than any wine person. It all depends on your pallet. Although Stonehaven is pretty good, not a bad merlot either

I love Shiraz. My perception would be based on your actions after you've had too much! Fun drunk. Or needs a baby sitter.

nothing wrong with that person... but he must be someone who knows how to appreciate wine... australian wine can be pretty good too!

That they know good wine! Australia makes some of the best and most affordable Shiraz (which is the same grape as Syrah, just a different name.)
