the last two days its been 98 degrees outside,,and after work, when i'd try to crank my 98 jimmy suv,,, it would take about 8 trys, then it would crank,,sluggish for s secon, then run fine,,, its usually always crank first try.

Can the high summer heat and humidy cause a suv to not crank right away? It has a new fuel pump,,,and air filter looks ok,,,,,I guess it could use new plugs.......but what about heat,, can it do that?
thanks.
i think my battery is ok,,it rolls my engine over, it just want actually run, almost like not enough air in carb.. maybe oxygen sensor is bad?
