I want to have a set-up for a conference room that allows me to have 4 to 8 users, each with their own headsets and microphones, to participate in an internet audio conference.
I have an idea that I will probably need a mixer for the mic inputs and an amplifier for the headset outputs, but I can't seem to find the appropriate products for me. Most preferably the headsets are 3.5 mm. Sound cards that have multiple mic inputs and stereo outputs can also be an alternative.
So the overall set-up is,
4-8 users, each having headsets
1 PC connects to the net, preferably same sound card.
What particular hardware/products could you recommend? Cost wise around ~$500.
