Indi Skye got me nervous about this, haha! Check out her question, kay?
Anyway, my pen name is "K.M. Lindsay"
But if I wrote my real name, it would be "Katya Lindsay" (Katya is pronounced cat-ee-ya)
What do you think? Which one?
I'm leaning more towards Katya Lindsay, but I think you could go either way.
You should go with the one that feels the most natural to YOU.
When I think of myself as an author, it's like I'm a completely different person. If all my friends call me Olivia, I wouldn't want to use that as my pen name. I personally prefer a little separation between the author half of my life and the acutal real part of my life.
If you feel this way too, then by all means go with K.M. Lindsay instead.
Um... I like actual names better than initials. I guess it really depends on what you're writing. If your target audience is male, you would want to go with a unisex name or a boy's name. If it's girls, go with a girl's name.
