The 1987 Twins won the World Series. But more importantly, they were the first team that I ever followed, since I was a 7 year old in Minnesota who started watching games to see why everyone else in town was so excited (I guess this makes me a bandwagon fan... but I think that's excusable for a 7 year old).
There were two men on that team who have since been elected to the Hall of Fame. One is obvious, and any reasonably knowledgeable baseball fan should be able to guess him. The other is not so obvious.
