Ok I got a somewhat mancrush on Jrue Holiday, partly because I'm a UCLA fan...

Both are highly skilled Combo Guards, about the same size.

Holiday was the #1 ranked HS prospect last year, and is doing a good job this year as a freshmen (not living up to the hype, but still good).

He's a complete player, scouts say he is much better than last year's SG Russell Westbrook. And Holiday has a complete game, very good defender, passer, scorer, and he's also a lefty.

Coincidentally both attended a Pac-10 school (Roy went to U of Washington).

I see a lot of resemblence between Holiday and Roy partly because they're both great Combo Guards.

I say Holiday has more potential because if you compare their Freshmen years in College Jrue has done a better job....but Brandon Roy was a F*ckin Beast in his Sophomore year.

Your take?

*No one line answers.
Big Bang Barros, Are you Half Retarded? Roy is only 6"4. And Holiday is a better shooter.

I should block you for being such a ignorant answerer

Brandon Roy by far. Holliday is a small 6-4 while Roy is 6-7. When it comes to size the NBA weeds out the smaller players. Plus Holliday can't shoot as well as Roy, plus Roy is a better passer and handler.

Just Roy all around

Dunno, brandon roy is a pretty amazing player and you never know how much better some1 is gonna be in the nba from college its a huge step that some palyers conquer and some dont... but he is a great player and very talented but even if u hate brandon roy u gotta admitt he is crazy good...best answer plz

Right now I'd have to go with Roy. True, Holiday is doing better in his freshman year. But until I see what he can do on a NBA court, and after seeing what Roy can do, you gotta go with Roy. Plus, feshman year wasn't even Roy's standout year. He did his most impressive stuff when he was a sophomore. Hopefully both will have great careers.
